ACLU Immigrants' Rights Project | New York, NY

Mira Naseer is a second-year student at Harvard Law School. This summer, she will be working at the ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project where she will be assisting with impact litigation and legal advocacy for various cases dedicated to expanding and enforcing the rights and civil liberties of immigrants in the United States.

At HLS, Mira has been a clinical student at the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinic and the International Human Rights Clinic, and will be working with the Crimmigration Clinic during her 3L year. She spent last summer working in human rights strategic litigation at a U.K. based non-profit organization, Minority Rights Group, and winter term interning with Justice Project Pakistan in capital defense and prisoners’ rights advocacy.

Prior to law school, Mira received an MPhil in Public Policy from the University of Cambridge, during which time she also worked with Amnesty International’s Refugee and Migrant Rights team. She also holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.

Mira is originally from Pakistan and grew up in Hong Kong and Indonesia. Her academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of immigration and refugee law, and human rights law.
