Elizabeth Herington is a rising junior in Pforzheimer House studying Economics. On campus, she is involved with the Harvard Model Congress, where she teaches high school students from around the world about government, current issues, and civic engagement through simulations. She is also a midshipman in the Boston Consortium of the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps, through which she trains to earn a commission in the United States Navy upon graduation.

 

She has previously interned with the National Park Service, where she learned about the ways that parks can impact their communities. This summer, she is excited to work for the US Defense Budget department of the American Enterprise Institute.
