Hilary Adeleke is a rising senior in Cabot House studying History of Science with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. On campus, she is deeply involved with high school mentorship through programs under the Association of Black Harvard Women and Radcliffe Institute. As a Harvard Undergraduate Black Health Advocates member, she has also hosted a panel to facilitate discussion of Black women’s mental health. With experience working in a policy office and in a free health clinic, Hilary has and continues to strive toward serving marginalized communities via direct community engagement and advancement of policy to achieve health equity. She aspires to work in medicine and public health to achieve this goal.

 

This summer, Hilary is excited to serve as an intern for Boston Healthcare for the Homeless to learn about and alleviate the harmful impacts of health and societal inequities on the daily lives of marginalized peoples. In her free time, Hilary enjoys reading, late night talks with family and friends, and watching Nollywood movies!
