Morgan Snyder is a Master in Public Policy candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School, studying social and urban policy to advance gender equity and reproductive rights.
Morgan’s career began leading the political and operations teams on Justice Janet Protasiewicz’s campaign for the Wisconsin Supreme Court, a historic campaign that flipped the Court to a liberal, all-women majority. Subsequently, she served as Press Assistant in Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s Office, handling rapid response on major events such as the 2023 debt ceiling deal and House Speaker race. Then, as Deputy Upstate Press Secretary, she helped drive the Senator’s Upstate New York media response. Most recently, Morgan worked at New Heights Communications, a Washington, D.C.-based public affairs firm, where she directed reproductive justice campaigns and organizations dedicated to electing women of color.
At Harvard, Morgan was selected for the 2026 Oval Office Program, a competitive training program that provides Harvard graduate students with the tools to run for office. Additionally, Morgan is a Research Assistant for the Strategic Training Initiative for the Prevention of Eating Disorders, a Staff Editor for the Harvard Kennedy School Student Policy Review, and was a Programming Lead for the 2026 Women in Power Conference.
This summer, Morgan is a Policy Fellow for the House of Representatives Democratic Women’s Caucus in Washington, D.C. Here, she supports the Caucus’s Better Future Agenda, a policy platform centered on defending and creating a better future for women. Her work includes research, issue tracking, and assisting with initiatives related to women’s economic security, health, and safety. In this capacity, she also utilizes her communications background to support messaging to amplify the Caucus’s policy priorities.
