Nidhi Patel is a rising senior in Eliot House from New Jersey. She studies Government and Neuroscience and is passionate about advocacy related to gender violence, and trauma-informed care. In the first half of the summer, she is working with the Urban Indigenous Collective on a project related to the MMIWGT2S (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, Transgender, and Two-Spirit people) crisis. Later on, she is interning with the New Jersey Governor's Office on a mental health services program for the homeless population. On-campus, she is involved with the Harvard Global Education Movement and the PBHA Boston Refugee Youth Enrichment (BRYE) program. Over the past summers, she has conducted research related to federal education policy, and historical injustice and reconciliation.
