Tiffany Tran is a rising junior at Harvard College studying Applied Mathematics on the Economics Track with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. A proud daughter of Vietnamese immigrants and native of Lowell, Massachusetts, Tiffany is committed to ensuring youth realize their full potential and regard themselves as active members of their communities. She is passionate about using quantitative tools to address social and economic challenges.

At Harvard College, Tiffany is deeply involved in the Phillips Brooks House Association, the largest student-led organization on campus, serving as the Assessment and Evaluation Chair and term-time director for CHANCE: College High School Alliance Nexus for Creative Education. Service and education have been integral values to Tiffany since middle school, where she was introduced to public service through local nonprofit organizations focused on youth empowerment such as Aaron’s Presents and Elevate New England.

This summer, Tiffany will serve as director of the Boston Refugee Youth Enrichment Summer Program in Dorchester, one of the ten camps under PBHA’s Summer Urban Program (SUP). She is excited to return to Dorchester this summer, previously serving as a Senior Counselor and teaching a classroom of ten of the camp’s youngest English-language learners. In this director role, she will lead BRYE’s operations during the spring and summer, managing hiring, training, camper recruitment, fundraising, and licensing. She hopes to continue BRYE’s longstanding commitment to celebrating diversity and its rich cultural history while also integrating new experiences and field trips into BRYE for the ninety campers this year!
