CPCS Public Defender Division Trial Office | Quincy, MA

Tosca Langbert is a rising junior in Quincy House concentrating in Social Studies with a secondary in Art, Film, and Visual Studies. Her studies focus on American Law and Surveillance, and she is passionate about understanding how the law affects people in practice, not just in theory. During the pandemic, Tosca took a leave of absence and joined AmeriCorps NCCC. She and her team worked for nonprofits, disaster relief efforts, and government organizations from West Virginia to Alaska. This summer, Tosca is excited to serve as an intern for the CPCS Public Defender Division Trial Office in Quincy, MA. As an intern, she will work alongside lawyers, law students, social workers, and investigators doing legal research and writing, arraignment and bail advocacy, and pretrial investigation. She hopes that her time with CPCS will prepare her for future work in public service. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, making playlists and short videos for her friends, and cooking.
