Victor M. Lee is a Doctoral Student in Education Leadership at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the Chair of Advocacy for the Harvard Graduate Council. He is a seasoned senior executive with expertise in strategic planning, innovation, finance, data analytics, and large-scale operational transformations. 

After graduating from Harvard with a BA magna cum laude in Government and serving as a Class Representative, Victor spent most of the next two decades serving in educational, government, and private sector roles in organizations ranging from a startup to Fortune 10 company CVS Health. Victor most recently led Corporate Strategy initiatives and served as VP, Business Management at HMH, the US’s largest K-12 adaptive learning and edtech company. As a chief of staff, Victor enabled 50M students and 4M educators across 150 countries to access world-class core curriculum, as well as supplemental, intervention, assessment, and professional development solutions with research-backed efficacy. Victor also served as the Board Chairman for the Software & Information Industry Association’s Education Division.

At The Wharton School, from which he received his MBA with Honors, Victor taught marketing, communications, and business ethics. A proud Taiwanese-American, Victor is also a competitive curler leading the Taiwanese national team, as well as an accomplished violinist and concertmaster. He is a former member of the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra.

This summer, Victor will develop a new data framework and approach to help the Arlington Public Schools better integrate data from variable sources to improve insight into the district’s financial health, drive better outcomes for students, and enable more strategic allocation of limited resources. Victor will also be running for elected office (School Committee) in his hometown of Newton.
